A NOTE FROM SPROUT;After 41 years of running vacations for over 40,000 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), we’ve had to suspend our programming and close our office due to the ongoing fight against COVID-19. We do this for the health and safety of our staff, participants, volunteers and community.

With a supportive Vacation Program to destinations around the U.S. and abroad, a program of day and evening activities around NYC, our film catalogue Sproutflix, and the Sprout Touring Film Festival, showcasing films featuring people with I/DD on the big screen, Sprout has been dedicated to inclusion and “making the invisible visible” for decades.

As a nonprofit organization that brings in money primarily from the fees we charge for our supportive vacations, we do not have the financial reserves to cover our basic overhead expenses during this prolonged crisis. While we’re trying to remain hopeful, we are forced to be realistic about the current situation and uncertain future and ask for your help.
